Mehmet Onur Keskin to Attend Prestigious Heidelberg Laureate Forum

We are thrilled to announce that Onur Keskin has been selected to participate in the esteemed Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation. This prestigious forum brings together recipients of top honors in mathematics and computer science, including the Abel Prize, ACM Turing Award, and Fields Medal, with a select group of promising young researchers from around the world. The forum offers a unique week of interdisciplinary exchange, providing a platform for early-career researchers to connect with scientific pioneers and learn from the extensive knowledge of the attending laureates.

His research focuses on human-agent interaction systems that quantify complex and semi-qualitative decisions and aid in finding near-optimal solutions. These decisions require a blend of quantitative analysis with human values and qualitative judgment, such as navigating the balance between rigor and empathy. He extends his sincere gratitude to his mentors, especially Reyhan Aydogan, and his collaborators for their invaluable support throughout his research journey.
