"Graph Neural Networks-Based Primal Heuristics: Award-Winning Master's Thesis in Computer Engineering"

Furkan Cantürk, a master's degree student in Computer Engineering at Özyeğin University, has been awarded the third prize in the IEEE Computer Society Turkey Master's Thesis Awards for his thesis. The competition, held annually to recognize outstanding work in computer science and engineering, saw 18 submissions, and Furkan Cantürk won the award with his thesis titled "Graph Neural Networks-Based Primal Heuristics for Combinatorial Optimization," under the supervision of our faculty members Dr. Reyhan Aydoğan and Prof. Dr. Okan Örsan Özener. The awards were presented at the 8th International Conference on Computer Science and Engineering (UBMK 2023).
